MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT SUSAN:
Rotarians,
This is an exciting week for the Englewood Rotary Club! We are meeting in person as a club!
Wednesday’s meeting will take place at the Elks Lodge, in Englewood. The address is 3690 S. Jason Street, located on the northeast corner of Jason and Windemere Avenue.
Lunch begins at noon.
The Elks Lodge is easy to find; it’s the only noticeable building on that corner with lots of parking on the north side of the building.
In spite of the challenges of the past year, during the pandemic, our club has survived and is stronger than ever as we move into the new presidential Rotary year under Patty Burnett‘s leadership.
Patty will present this week's program, which she calls "Letting Go."
This meeting is an opportunity to catch up on where we’ve been over the past year and more importantly where we’re going for the future.
I look forward to seeing everyone in person on Wednesday! -- Susan
Letting Go
Hey, I'm doing the program this week. It's based on two books I've recently read:
"The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing" by Marie Kondo and "Fully Awake and Truly Alive: Spiritual Practices to Nurture Your Soul" by Rev. Jane Vennard.
You'll have to be there to see how those two impossibly different titles get into my presentation on "Letting Go." -- Patty
