Hi Rotarians,
I hope you will be able to join us this Wednesday, August 19, at 1 p.m. on Zoom, when our District Governor Bob Kemp will be joining us. Bob will be giving us a presentation for about 25 minutes about District activities and plans for this coming Rotary year. He is also looking forward to your questions and thoughts about ways to improve our District and Englewood Club for this year.
I know that you will enjoy his review of the current status of our District and his thoughts about ways we can improve our Club and the District going forward. We are honored to have Bob join us, and I hope you will be able to listen to his comments and vision, and will participate in the question and answer session following his presentation.
At the meeting, we will also have an update from Vee Sabel regarding the acquisition of backpacks and school supplies for Englewood Middle School students
Finally, as a reminder, we will have a Happy Hour on August 26th, and we will be dark on September 2 for Labor Day.
Take care, and I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday. -- Gary
