MESSAGE FROM
PREZ PATTY
Rotarians, we have a great program this week -- Mary Taylor Young, the author of 18 books celebrating the landscape, wildlife and heritage of Colorado and the American West.
She'll be sharing her expertise on and experiences in Rocky Mountain National Park, a place Bob and I revere.
We'll also have an update from our Membership chairman Mike Dow. He recently participated in a district Summit on how to grow and retain membership. Mike has a Plan for us!
New to our meeting agenda this year is a member travelogue. Josh will be sharing some of the travels he and Jane have enjoyed this year.
Next week we will have our own Honorary Member Larry Matten speaking to us. Larry's topic will be on Will Substitutes and Colorado Small Estate Affidavits. This might be a week you'll want to invite a friend or a spouse. If so, just be sure to RSVP to me by Monday of next week.
RSVPs are very important, now that we place an order weekly to our caterer, Gourmet for Good. This is especially true on the third Wednesday of the month, when we order individual sandwich boxes. (No RSVP/Yes, no sandwich box.)
We'll have a board meeting following our regular meeting next week. We will be discussing the proposed allocations of Foundation funds (including recent peach sales) for 2021-22. A committee of Susan, Vee and Bruce has recommendations for us to consider.
As always, all members may attend board meetings.
