Susan is in the hospital
Sorry to stun you with that in the email subject line, but I wanted to make sure everyone reads this.
President Susan is in the ICU, Room 212, of the new UCD hospital in Highlands Ranch. She has been diagnosed with a blood clot in her lung. Her doctors believe she can fully recover from this, but she will be in the hospital for several days for observation and treatment.
If you'd like to wish her a speedy recovery, you may text to 303-435-8773. She's not keen on visitors.
Our program this week will be our own Bruce and Linda sharing their experiences in Thailand, where they did some volunteer work in the name of Rotary, and their related travels.
We are in need of additional program presenters. If you have an idea, I can follow up and make arrangements. paburnett@aol.com
See you on Zoom, and I will update everyone on Susan as I learn anything further. We're checking on whether we can send flowers (probably not in the ICU).
