PRESIDENT GARY:
Hi Rotarians,
I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, June 24, at our upcoming Zoom Happy Hour at 6 pm. Co-President Linda Spear has sent us the invitation and a link to our Zoom get-together, and I hope you will all be able to attend.
As a reminder, the Club with be Dark on July 1, and there will be no meeting during that week.
On July 8, our Honorary Member Larry Matten will be speaking at our Zoom meeting, and it will be a meeting that I think you will enjoy.
At this point we do not have a speaker for July 15, so please let me know if there are topics or speakers that you would like to hear from.
On July 22, I am in contact with Dan Poremba, the Chief Redevelopment Officer for the City of Englewood, who has expressed interest in speaking to us about the status of the Downtown Redevelopment project. I will be confirming his attendance and topic in next week’s newsletter.
In addition, at our last Board Meeting the Board voted to continue our Zoom meetings through the end of the first quarter of our Rotary Year, or until October 1, 2020.
